Expatriate for most of his professional life (26 years across Europe, the United States, Japan, and Turkey), Marc Tonnon has been, under various titles, Chief Marketing Officer of multiple information services and publishing companies. As member of the executive committee, he contributed to start up several new companies abroad and he has been the general manager of a pan-European company based in Belgium.
His experience covers not only the various dimensions of marketing, but also includes general management, strategy and business development, operations and distribution. Beyond line management roles, he has worked in executive staff positions, as interim manager, and is now an independent consultant.
He has taught strategy, marketing and international business courses in English or in French in undergraduate, graduate, and post-graduate programs in various countries and teaches now at ICHEC-Entreprises and at STIMA-Education.
